Golden Characters

After recruiting the second copy of a character, you may see that character again in one of your shops. This third copy will be Golden. By recruiting the golden copy, its stats will naturally be +1/+1 larger, and will give you a Bonus Shop full of treasures.
Notes
- The Treasure shop will be the same rarity as the character that was goldened.
- Turning the character golden will remove it from the card pool for the rest of the game.
- Many characters (but not all) will have their abilities doubled when turned golden. You can see these by selecting “Golden” in the cards database.
- Banking a golden character is the same as recruiting it and will still give you the Treasure shop.
- If the silver copy is on your board, the golden copy will automatically replace it.
- If you turn something golden using a spell (like
Midas Touch ), you do not gain the buff or the Treasure Shop. - If the character has a “When you golden me” effect (e.g.,
Nameless One ), it will still trigger, whether you recruit the golden copy from the shop or turn it golden using a targeted effect.
