Spells

Starting on Turn 3, your shop expands to include not only 3 characters but also 1 spell. Spells behave differently than characters as they have no stats, feature a distinct spell frame, and are one-time use only. To cast a spell, simply drag it down onto your board area (some spells have a specific target, while others do not).

Notes

• To cast a spell that targets a specific character, drag it directly onto that character.
• If a spell specifies it targets a slot, drag it to the character currently in that slot. This still counts as casting the spell on a character (for effects like Ironcast Dragon).
• Casting a spell uses up your shop, you are choosing the spell instead of recruiting a character that turn.
• You cannot bank spells. If you’re granted a Bonus Spell, you must cast it. Be careful!
• While spells do not show rarity gems on their card frames, they do have rarities (which you can see on card zoom) and follow the same shop rarity progression as characters.
