Boons

Boons are special treasures with powerful effects and special rules.

Boons are not acquired like normal treasures, they are not rewarded for taking golden characters or completing Quests. Boons are gained through cards’ effects, such as Orpheus giving Boons if you have a cracked heart.

Boons have a condition, similar to Quests, which must be met before you get their effects.

Notes

• Boons reward other cards or play powerful spells. After gaining a Boon’s reward, it disappears (it no longer counts towards Treasure Hoard).
• Unfinished Boons you already have cannot be options in new Boon discovery shops. You can rediscover Boons after they've been completed, and complete them again.
• Boons are treasures, they are affected by treasure-copying or treasure-stealing effects.
• Boons were introduced in Galaxy’s third set, Mythbound: Prophecies of the Nether Realm.
